1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LeaseLens AI ("the Service"), operated by LeaseLens AI. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the demo feature, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LeaseLens AI uses artificial intelligence to extract structured data (such as tenant name, landlord name, property address, lease dates, rent, and security deposit) from lease documents you upload. The Service is a data-extraction tool only and does not review documents for legal accuracy, completeness, or enforceability.

3. Not Legal Advice

LeaseLens AI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. AI-extracted data may contain errors or omissions and should be independently verified against the original document before being relied upon for any legal, financial, or business decision. You should consult a qualified attorney for advice specific to your lease or transaction.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• The Service is offered on a paid subscription basis at $29.99 per month for up to 100 document extractions per billing period.
• There is no free tier for the dashboard; a limited number of demo extractions are available on the landing page without an account, subject to rate limits.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are billed and processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• Unused document extractions do not roll over to the next billing period.

5. Document Handling and Zero Retention

Uploaded PDF files are processed in-memory to extract text and are deleted immediately after processing. We do not retain a copy of your original document. Only the structured data you choose to extract (e.g. tenant name, rent amount) is stored in your account history so you can review past extractions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload documents you do not have the legal right to process.
• Use the Service to build a competing product or to circumvent usage limits.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

7. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated extractions may be incomplete or incorrect.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeaseLens AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decisions made in reliance on data extracted by the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
