1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information LeaseLens AI ("we," "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: your email address, created when you sign up, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Extracted lease data: the structured fields you choose to extract from a document (e.g. tenant name, landlord name, address, dates, rent, security deposit, and any custom fields you request), along with the original file name and extraction timestamp. This is stored in your account so you can view your extraction history.
• Usage data: how many documents you've processed in a billing period, to enforce plan limits.
• Payment information: subscription and billing details are handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number, CVC, or expiration date.

3. What We Do Not Store: Your Documents

When you upload a PDF for extraction, the file is processed entirely in-memory to read its text content and is deleted immediately afterward. We do not keep a copy of the original PDF, before or after processing, for either paid extractions or the free demo.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Service, including running extractions and showing your history.
• To process payments and manage your subscription.
• To enforce usage limits associated with your plan.
• To respond to support requests.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with the following providers, solely to operate the Service:

• OpenAI: the text extracted from your uploaded document is sent to OpenAI's API to identify the requested fields. This text is transmitted for processing purposes and is subject to OpenAI's own API data usage policies.
• Supabase: hosts our database and authentication system, storing your account and extracted lease data as described above.
• Stripe: processes subscription payments and stores your payment method on our behalf, under Stripe's own privacy and security practices.

6. Data Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Access to your account data in our database is restricted using row-level security, so only your authenticated account can read your own profile and extraction history. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account information and extraction history for as long as your account is active. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact us using the details below and we will process your request within a reasonable time.

8. Your Choices

You can review your extraction history at any time from your dashboard. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, contact us as described below.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
